WELCOME TO YOGA FLOW MOTION
I’m Anna, a Movement Instructor and musician, teaching Yoga and Reformer Pilates in Brighton.
I believe movement is your birthright.
In my classes, you’ll experience fluid transitions, connected movement, and sequences that unfold with a sense of coherence and ease. Each movement belongs to the next.
While I appreciate that long holds and static work can build strength and resilience, my approach is different. I’m interested in the intelligence of flow: what becomes possible when the body is given space to move beyond stress and into a more receptive state.
My teaching is rooted in curiosity about the body's natural rhythms and its remarkable capacity for self-organisation. There are no peak poses to achieve and no performance to strive for. Instead, each sequence emerges from movement itself, guided by the intelligence that is developing in my body.

People often tell me my classes feel like dancing. Yet I move away from choreography and towards embodied exploration. Through the continuous, connected movement I have sequenced, I invite students into a parasympathetic state where the nervous system can soften, settle, and regulate. When we move from this place, something interesting happens. Bodies often begin to synchronise naturally, breath deepens, and a sense of connection emerges. Strength and resilience still develop, but without competition, expectation, or pressure.
What you will experience:
Expect embodied movement, flow state, relaxation without forced stillness, a space to focus on nothing but the present moment. I will guide back into your body in the most natural and gentle way possible.
Who is this class for?
Everyone is welcome! Some experience of yoga is preferable - perfect for those who enjoy flowy vinyasa classes and/or dance. My classes are queer-positive and body-positive.
This class may not be right for you if you are carrying some injuries - please reach out to me here with any questions.
